CORPORATE MISSION

The Board of Directors of Feather World Bi-Lingual Opportunities, NFP targets under-served Inner city youth with its bi-lingual programs, It will focus on schools – both public and private – park Districts and other agencies (community, church, etc.) which sponsor after school and summer Programs that focus on preparing youth for tomorrow, Books and CDs will be sold at a minimal price to schools – donated to small community organizations in Distressed areas.

TEACHING METHODS

The Board of Directors has identified a team of accomplished bi-lingual professionals which “Trains the Trainers”. This team has compiled a curriculum to train instructors and parents on how to use the book And the tutorial CD to reach the intended goal – that youth learn to recognize, read, and pronounce Commonly used words/terms in languages other than English.

THE IDENTIFIED NEED

Current statistics reveal that the Latino and Asian populations in the United States are expanding rapidly That within the next 3 to 5 years the USA will be considered a bi-lingual country. Large corporations Are encouraging their employees to study “foreign” languages, some corporations reimburse employees For the cost of classes – other offer raises and bonuses to their bi-lingual employees. Many human resource departments of Corporate America are requiring knowledge of a second language for specified well-paying positions.
